This was taken as we sped home from a family reunion this summer.
Some many words come to mind to describe what we were seeing...
powerful, majestic, destructive, devastating....
It made me feel infinitely small and humble to know that there was little that could be done to stop this powerful force of nature.
But conquer it they did, even though it destroyed hundreds...if not thousands...of acres of land.
TENDER MERCY MOMENT:
I was able to go with my Hero to visit a sweet a couple that were influential in my youth. It was comforting to remember all times and to share stories. I'm thankful for that time and the opportunity I had to thank them for being the wonderful people that they are.
